Holidays
Brumski holidays are a must for every Birmingham student at some point during their University career. A fanatastic opportunity to relax after a hard terms work Brumski offers great skiing and snowboading with likeminded snow enthusiasts, whether expert or novice, a Brumski holiday is enjoyed by all.
Brumski also has a range of excellent social opportunities, ranging from quiet pints over looking snow capped peaks to fancy dress in packed french clubs with the whole of the holiday together.
Val D’Isere: 11th - 19th December 2009
A beautiful village resort with an expansive ski area - the Espace Killy. A firm favorite with seasonaires, expert skiers and novices, Val D’Isere has much to offer. Linked with Tignes the Espace Killy is rated one of the best ski areas in Europe. High mountains mean a reliable snow record throughout the year with an excellent park and several opportunities to ski off piste, we know Brumskiers will love it too.
The resort itself is awash with great apres. Bars such as Dicks, Saloon and Morris and Le Foret offer Brumski exclusive meal and drinks deals to enjoy after a hard days skiing.
Booking opens Wedneday 23rd September. Last Year Christmas sold out in 6 days. So you need to be quick!
Les Arcs 1800 - March 26th - April 3rd 2010.
Last year Les Arcs proved to be a firm favorite with Brumski. A huge and reliable ski area with a good snow record proved perfect for some Easter skiing. A well maintained and interesting park proved a favorite to the more adventurous, but wide pisted runs and a variety within the ski area proved popular to the more cautious. Les Arcs also wowed us with the variety of the apres on offer. Bars such as Red Hot Saloon and Chez Bousbous kept us entertained and numourous happy hours kept us very happy! The most popular aspect of Les Arcs is the meal on the mountain night. A huge raclette meal is served to us with vin chaud and wine aplenty atop a mountain. The owner is a little crazy and once the meal is cleared away he actively encouages dancing on the tables to the eccletic french tunes on offer. Then its time to ski down the mountain guided by fire torches. Brilliant and always a night to remember!
Easter goes on sale when the Christmas holiday sells out. Watch this space!
