Freestyle
Each year the freestyle movement at Brumski gains momentum and helps everyone’s riding progress to the next level.
Every other week there will be a freestyle trip of some sort, differing between rail and kicker action at Swadlincote dry-slope, real snow jumps and boxes at Tamworth, or the ridiculous 8ft kicker at Welwyn with an enormous stunt-style airbag after it for you to practice your new flips and spins onto.
Such is the dedication and “just do it” attitude of our freestylers, that over the summer a number of treats have been created for all to enjoy when you get the urge for some shred! Two gardens have undergone a complete transformation, one has i drop in and down rail, covered in perma snow for some jib ninja action, the second has a mellow mini ramp to perfect your skateboarding skills. Both can be ridden under floodlight, so whenever there are not any brumski events on, our shred hunger can be fed! Plus some of us are pretty handy with a shovel and some fresh powder if you like soft fresh landings on the holiday’s.

Swadlincote Beginners Freestyle
Fortnightly we run beginners freestyle trips to Swadlincote, which are a brilliant way to try freestyle in a chilled, fun environment with other brumskiers on hand to help you over your first kicker or rail grind. Our national freestyle medalists and other assorted huckers and yo-boys are always keen to get new people into the ranks, and will do their best to help you get that new trick landed by the end of the evening!

Tamworth Freestyle
On every other week (ie. every week there is not a Swadlincote trip), we shal be running trips to the UK’s first indoor slope, the Snow Dome in Tamworth, with a set up that ranges from ride on, easy to learn beginners boxes to larger more difficult hits like the battle ship rail, it caters for all ability’s. It is also perfect for getting the feeling of real snow, not plastic, under your feet ready for the holidays!
